BOARD OF APPEALS BEARINGS
July 31, 1952
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's Room,
Town Office Building, Lexington an July 31, 1952. Chairman Locke, Messrs.
Ripley, Ballard, Redman, and Emery were present. The clerk was also
present.
Petitions were heard as follows:
August Schumacher - remove gravel from the area located at the junction
of the exington, L oln and Bedford boundaries, adjacent to the Bedford
Airport and Airport road as per map submitted.
John C. Gillon - to operate an auto tune-up and minor repair shop in a
two -car garage at t e rear of 363 Mass. Ave., subject to the following con-
ditions: 1. That no assistants be employed; 2. That there shall be no sales
of automobile accessories; 3. That the work shall be performed only between
the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and on Saturday
from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; 4. That the permit shall expire August 1, 1958.

Elizabeth W. Daniels - to enlarge the present porch at 7 Winthrop Rd.
Merton S. Barrows - to add a porch to the existing residence at 35 Wood-
land Rd.
At dhe close of the hearings the Board held an Executive Session at
which the following decisions were made:
