HomeMy WebLinkAbout1952-04-17 171 BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS April 17, 1952 The Board of Appeals held public hearings on April 17, 1952 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office, on the following petitions Robert M. Perkins - to erect a utility building 7'8"x10'0" on Lot 9-B Taft Ave. Paul E. Snyder - make an addition to the existing dwelling at AO Buckman Dr. in accordance with plans submitted. Harvey W. Newgent - to erect a two-car garage at #31 Meriam St. in accordance with plans submitted, subject to the following conditions: 1 That upon completion of the garage, the projecting portion of the present one-car garage be removed; that the existing circular black-top driveway be eliminated and the area grassed down, all in accordance with plans submitted; 2. And subject tothe further condition that an appro- priate fence be maintained in good order between the proposed garage and Glen Rd. Arlex Realty Trust - to erect a single family dwelling on Lot #3 Summer St. Jamas W. Goodfellow - to operate a Golf Driving Range on the prem- ises adjacent to Countryside, subject to the following conditions 1. That no soft drinks, sandwiches or ice cream shall be sold on the prem- ises; 2. That the fence be repaired and the building reconditioned and repainted and the premises be kept in a neat and orderly condition; 3. That the permit shall expire one year from date. Milford Woodward - to erect a twocar garage on Lot #18 located at 487 Waltham St., subject to the condition that a 15 foot side yard be provided on the southerly side of the lot. Following the hearings an Executive Session was held during which the following decisions were made: Paul E. Snyder - granted Harvey W. Newgent - granted Arlex Realty Trust - granted James W. Goodfellow - granted Milford Woodward - granted Muriel C. Stone, Clerk
