A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's
Room, Town Office Building, on Tuesday, November 15, 1951. At 8:00
p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following petitions:
Dr. William L. Barnes - to maintain an office for the prac-
tice of medicine in his residence at 404 Bedford St.
Frederick A. Yochim - to erect a garage and breezeway at 34
Woodcliffe Rd. in accordance with plot plan submitted.
Nishan Haroian - to operate a roadside stand at No. 353
Concord Ave.
Leeland G. McConchie - to erect a building of third-class con-
struction at No. 6 Camelia Place in accordance with plot plan submitted.
Evelyn M. Stocker - to occupy a trailer located at 35 Bartlett
Avenue.
Mr. and Mrs. John Woodard.- to erect a dormer on the rear
elevation of house at 73 Blake Rd.
' J. Bagelman - to erect a flat neon sign on the building at the
corner of Mass. Ave, and Hibbert St. extending 8-1/2 ft. around the
corner on Hibbert St.
At the close of the hearings an executive session was held
during which the following decisions were reached:
Dr. William L. Barnes - granted
Frederick A. Yochim - granted
Nishan Haroian - granted, subject to the conditions as set
forth in the Permit Order
Leeland G. McConchie - granted, subject to the following condi-
tions: (1) that only work usually connected with the operation of an
office should be carried on in the building; (2) that the equipment
should be stored only in the rear of the property; (3) that the build-
ing shall conform in every respect to the requirements of the Lexington
Building By-laws; (4) that the premises at all time shall be kept in a
neat and orderly condition.
