BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
June 28, 1951
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's
Room, Town Office Building, on Tuesday, June 28, 1951. At 8:00 p.m.
hearings were declared open upon the following petitions:
Irving L. Moore - to subdivide a parcel of land on lots at
258 East Street in accordance with plot plan submitted.
John Murray - to erect a single family dwelling on lots nos.
23, 24, 25 and 26 in Block 24 Eaton Rd.
Loreto Visco - to continue the operation of the existing Golf
Driving Range located on land owned by the Kelchester Realty Trust,
adjacent to Countryside, Inc.
Frank A. Napoli - to operate existing roadside stand situated
on Marrett Road until June 1, 1952, for the sale of farm and poultry
products raised on the petitioner's farm.
.John.Mancuso - to continue removal of the gravel bank located
at 87 and 87-1/2 Cary Ave.
Joseph L. Weber - to erect on Lot 0, Cedar St. a Gunnison
Champion Home, Model C.J. in accordance with the plans submitted.
At the close of the hearings an executive session was held
during whitish`•, the following decisions were reached:
Irving Moore - denied
Loreto Visco - granted
John Murray - granted
Frank A. Napoli - granted
John Mancuso - granted, subject to the following conditions:
(1) that no loam shall be removed from the premises. (2) that all bould-
ers shall be removed. (3) that all existing loam shall be spread uni-
formly over the area. (4) that all excavating and grading shall be com-
pleted within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of this hearing.
Joseph L. Weber - granted, subject to the following conditions:
(1) that either a gas or electric hot water heater be used in place of
an oil burning hot water heater. (2) that the ceiling area immediately
above the forced air oil burning Furnace be fireproofed, either with
transite board or with wire lath and plaster.
All pertinent material with regard to the above petitions is on
file in each individual folder.
