BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
IJanuary 12, 1951
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen'$
Room, Town Office Building, on Tuesday, January 12, 1951 At 8:00 p.m.
hearings were declared open upon the following petitions:
Saul G. Cohen - to erect a single-family dwelling on Lot No.,
17 Moon Hill Road, Lexington.
Macland Inc. - to erect 3 pre -fabricated dwellings on Lot
Nos. 10, 11 and 13, Bedford St.
John T. H. Powers, M.D. - to conduct an office for the practice
of medicine at No. 11 Harrington Rd. and to erect the usual small doc-
tor's sign.
Prof. John H. Judge - to operate a Nursery School at No. 11#
Concord Highway.
At the close of the hearings an executive session was held d*r-
ing which the following decisions were made:
Saul G. Cohen - granted
Macland, Inc. - denied
' John T. H. Powers, M.D. - granted
Prof. John H. Judge - granted, subject to the following condi-
tions: (1) The Permit shall be effective only so long as Professor Judie
owns and occupies the premises; (2) that the School shall be conducted
only on the first floor of the building; (3) that the suggested standatds
for Child Care Centers be followed in all respects, including the condi-
tion that the building shall comply with all fire and safety regulations-
.
All pertinent material regarding above petitions is on file in
each individual folder.
