BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
April 14, 1950
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's
Room, Town Office Building, on April 14, 1950. Chairman Locke,
Messrs. Ballard, Redman, Lynah, and Ripley were present. The clerk
was also present.
At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open on the following
petitions:
Anthony Cataldo for permission to process, warehouse and sell
fresh fruits and vegetables at 703 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington.
Burpee B. Coffill for permission to erect a single-car garage,
cinder block construction, one foot from the side lot line and one
foot from the aide lot line and one foot from the rear lot line at 3
Forest Street, Lexington.
Alexander B. Murphy for permission to erect, on lot numbered
107 Oakland Avenue, a single-family dwelling and garage, the garage
of the proposed structure to be located 2 feet 6 inches from a pri-
vate road using a strip 20 feet wide adjacent to Lot 107.
E. A. Sawyer, Jr. for permission to erect a single-family
dwelling and garage on Lots 34 and 35 Simonds Road in Block 24, said
lots having a total frontage of 60 feet and a combined area of 6300
square feet.
Robert E. McDonough for permission to construct a single-
family dwelling with attached garage on Lots 13 and 14 in Block 23 on
Dexter Road, said lots having a total frontage of 60 feet and a com-
bined area of 6397 square feet.
Henry J. Trembley for permission to erect a single-ff,nily dwell-
ing and attached garage on Lots 39, 40, 41 in Block 2, corner of Hard+
ing and Simonds Roads, said lots having a total area of 10,644 square
feet, a total frontage on Simonds Road of 106 feet, a total frontage
on Harding Road of 96 feet and a side yard of 13-1/2 feet.
In executive session the following decisions were rendered:
Anthony Cataldo - Granted
Burpee Coffin - Granted
Alexander B. Murphy - Granted
Robert E. McDonough - Granted
E. A. Sawyer - Denied
Henry J. Trembley - No one present, no decision made
The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 p.m.
