November 17, 1949
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's
Room, Town Office Building, on November 17, 1949. Chairman Locke,
Messrs. Ballard, Ripley, Lynah and Rich were present. The clerl was.
also present.
At 8:02 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following
petitions:
Bettie D. Jellis for permission to use the vestry of the Follen
Community Church, 755 Massachusetts Avenue, for the purpose of conduit-
ing a kindergarten daily from 9:00 to 12:00 non.
Susan A. Spencer for permission to establish a funeral home at
52 Waltham Street, to be conducted by Louis H. Spencer.
F. K. Johnson for permission to build an addition 12' x 18' at
the rear of the present building located at 39-41 Bedford Street, tojbe
used as a paint shop.
Wilbur R. Fletcher for permission to erect a single-family* dw�ll-
ing and garage on Lot 148A Grant Street, said lot having a frontage Of
105.15 feet and an area of 10,940 sq.ft.
Hearing were declared closed at 9:00 p.m. and the following do-

The meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
