III BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
November 17, 1949
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's
Room, Town Office Building, on November 17, 1949. Chairman Locke,
Messrs. Ballard, Ripley, Lynah and Rich were present. The cle# was
also present.
At 8:02 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following
petitions:
Bettie D. Jellis for permission to use the vestry of the FollCn
Community Church, 755 Massachusetts Avenue, for the purpose of condult-
ing a kindergarten daily from 9:00 to 12:00 non.
Susan A. Spencer for permission to establish a funeral home at
52 Waltham Street, to be conducted by Louis H. Spencer.
F. S. Johnson for permission to build an addition 12' x 18' at
the rear of the present building located at 39-41 Bedford Street, tolbe
used as a paint shop.
Wilbur R. Fletcher for permission to erect a single-family dwell-
, ing and garage on Lot 148& Grant Street, said lot having a frontage Of
105.15 feet and an area of 10,940 sq.ft.
Hearing were declared closed at 9:00 p.m. and the following de-
cision]. reached in executive session:
Bettie D. Jellis - Granted
Susan A. Spencer - Granted
F. K. Johnson - Granted
Wilbur R. Fletcher - Granted
The meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
