BOARD OF APPEALS HSABINGS
November 10, 3949
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's
Room, Town Office Building, on November 10, 1949. Chairman Locke,
Messrs. Redman, Ballard, Lynah and Houdlette were present. The clerk
was also present. Mr. Lynah joined the meeting at 9.05 p.m.
At 8:12 the following hearings were declared open:
John Busa for permission to convert a sash-house to a green-
house at 36 Lowell Street, Lexington.
Lester H. L. Olson for permission to erect a single-family dwell-
ing the construction of which would not conform to the requirements of
the Lexington Building By-law, on lot 94 Wachusett Drive, said lot hay-
ing a frontage of 144.47 feet and an area of 11,306 square feet.
John V. Harrington for permission to erect a single-family dwell-
ing and garage the construction of which would not conform to the re-
quirements of the Lexington Building By-law, on lot 5 North Street.
Douglas W. Smith for permission to build a single-family resilience
using the so-called box frame construction, on lots 78, 79, 80 Henderson
Road, said lots having a total frontage of 93.44 feet and a combined' area
of approximately 9310 square feet, and upon the petition of Donald H.
Perkins for permission to build a single-family residence using the so-
called box frame construction, on lots 69, 70, 71 Henderson Road, said
lots having a total frontage of 90 feet and a combined area of approxi-
mately 9990 square feet.
Hearings were declared closed at 9:20 p.m. and in executive
session the following decisions were reached:
John Buse - Granted
Lester H. L. Olson - Granted
John V. Harrington - Granted
Douglas N. Smith - Granted
Donald H. Perkins - Granted
The meeting was adjourned at 10:10 p.m.
