BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
September 16, 1949
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's
Room, Town Office Building, on September 16, 1949• Acting Chairman
Rich, Messrs. Lynch, Ripley, Ballard and Redman were present. The
clerk was also present.
At 8:05 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following
petitions:
Warren E. Russell, for permission to use the premises at 1505
Massachusetts Avenue for the purposes of conducting an inn.
Harvey Newgent for permission to build a house using the so-called
box frame construction, on Lot 14 Colony Road, said lot having a frontage
of 56 feet on Colony Road and a total area of approximately 13,170 square
feet.
Ernest DeVincent for permission to operate a roadside stand at the
corner of Pleasant Street and Concord Turnpike, Lexington, and to install
a roof on said stand.
George C. Chick for permission to erect a single-family dwelling
and garage on Lots 44, 45, 46 Boulder Road, said lots having a total
frontage of 81.45 feet on Boulder Road, and a combined area of approli-
mately 21,260 square feet.
The hearings were declared closed at 9:12 p.m. and the following
decisions reached in executive session:
Warren Russell - Granted
Harvey Newgent - Granted
Ernest DeVincent - Granted
George 0. Chick - Granted
The meeting was adjourned at 10:55 p.m.
