HomeMy WebLinkAbout1949-08-18 A BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS August 18, 1949 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, on August 18, 1949. Chairman Locke, Messrs. Redman, Ripley, Hondlette and Rich were present. The clerk was also present. At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following petitions: Frederick L. Doyle for permission to display a sign and adver- tise real estate from his home #620 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington. Clinton P. Weldon for permission to erect a single-family dweL1- ing on lots 39B, 40 and 41 in Block 17, Preston Road, in accordance With plot plan submitted, said lots having a total frontage on Preston Road of 75 feet and a combined area of 7875 square feet. G. E. Talbot, Jr. for permission to erect a single-family dwell- ing and garage the construction of which would not conform with thel requirements of the Lexington Building By-law on lots 47, 48, and 49 Boulder Road, Lexington, said lots having a total frontage of 75 feet on Boulder Road and a combined area of 17,410 square feet, in accord- ance with plans submitted. Joseph M. Pecoraro for permission to erect a single-family dHlell- ing and garage on lot 30 and a portion of lot 31 Farmcrest Avenue, IDI accordance with plot plan submitted. In executive session following the hearings the following degi- sions were reached: Frederick L. Doyle - Denied Clinton P. Weldon - Granted G. E. Talbot, Jr. - Granted Joseph M.
