HomeMy WebLinkAbout1949-07-14 9 `1 BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS July 14, 1949 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's' Room, Town Office Building, on July 14, 1949 Chairman Locke, Messrs. Redman, Ripley, Lynah and Rich were present. At 8 04 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following petitions Lawrence W. Sharpe for permission to erect a dwelling and garrage on Lot 14, Lot 14A, Lot 15 and a portion of Lot 16 Nichols Road, in accordance with plot plan submitted, said plan showing that the parcel of land hereinbefore described has a frontage of 67.50 feet on Nicholls Road, and a total area of approximately 7200 square feet. Leeland G. McConchie for permission to erect a single-family dwelling and attached garage on Lots 1, 2, and 3, said lots having 4 total frontage of 78.49 feet on Blake Road and a total frontage of 113.93 feet on Nowers Road, and a combined area of 9248 square feet, and to erect a single-family dwelling and attached garage on Lots 24, 25, and 26 Blake Road, these lots having a total frontage of approximately 119.18 feet on Blake Road and a combined area of 9670 square feet, in accordancd with plot plans submitted; and for permission to erect a single-family dhielling and attached garage on Lots 4, 5, and 6 Nowers Road, said lots having a combined frontage of 100 feet on Nowers Road and a combined area of '7224 square feet; and to erect a single-family dwelling and attached garslge on Lots 7, 8, and 9 Nowers Road, these lots having a total frontage of '110.46 feet on Nowers Road and a combined area of 7800 square feet, in accordance with plot plans submitted. Lawrence W. Sharpe - granted Leeland G ,McConchie - Mr. Locke stated to those present that because of the question of the legality of notice and to obviate any question, at the request of th4 petitioner, this meeting would be ad- journed to 3 weeks from tonight at 8.00 p.m., and that notices would be sent to any persons whose names Mr Jaquith submitted. Mr. Locke stated that the Board would rest after this hearing, so that there would be no question and that the Board would add any names that Mr. Jaquith wiehed to add to the list and declared that the mheting stood adjourned at 8 35 p.m. The clerk of the Board was directed to mail the notices the fallow- ing day, July 15th.
