HomeMy WebLinkAbout1949-07-071 BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS July 7, 1949 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's Room in the Town Office Building, Lexington, Massachusetts on July 7, 1949• Chairman Locke, Messrs. Lynah, Ripley and Ballard were present. The clerk was also present. At 8:05 p.m. hearings were declared open on the following petitions: John F. Mayer for permission to erect a dwelling and garage on Lots 17 and 18 in Block 22 Gleason Road, said lots having a combined area of 6493 square feet and a total frontage of 60 feet on Gleason Road. Guy E. Reed, Jr„ and Marjorie S. Reed to erect a garage at ;2 Berwick Road, 9-1/2 feet from the existing residence on the premiss and 7-1/2 feet from the lot line, in accordance with the plot plan sub- witted. Warren E. Russell for permission to erect, at 15 Woburn Str$et, a single-family dwelling and garage the construction of which would ' not conform with the requirements ofthe Lexington Building By-law,,in accordance with plans submitted. The hearing was declared closed at 8:35 p.m. The applications were considered and the following decisions rendered: Warren E. Russell - granted Guy and Marjorie Reed - granted John F. Mayer - granted Due to the absence of a fifth member of the Board, it was atreed by the four members of the Board present at the meeting that the clerk of the Board should submit the record of the hearing to a fifth mesber for his review and his signature to the Permit Orders if his vote $hould be in accord with that of the four other members.
