BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS

A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's
Room, Town Office Building, on May 13, 1949. Chairman Locke, Messrr3.
Redman, Ripley, Lynah and Houdlette being present. The clerk was also
present.
At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open on the following
petitions:
Loreto Visco for permission to continue the operation of the
existing golf driving range on a portion of the land owned by the
estate of Howard M. Munroe on Lowell Street, adjacent to Countrysidey
Inc.
Laurence B. Trombetta for permission to build an extension to
the existing building at 216 Concord Turnpike, Lexington, which would
result in a side yard less in width than that required by the Lexington
Zoning By-law.
Arthur J. Williams for permission to erect, on Lots numbered �3
and 14 on Plan of Land in Lexington and Burlington, and dated September
10, 1948, and fronting on North Street, Lexington, a part of a dwell ng
in accordance with the blueprint plans submitted, and in accordance
with the plot plan submitted, the latter showing approximately 20 felet
of the depth of the house to be located in Lexington and approximatelLy
4 feet of the depth of the house to be located in Burlington.
K. V. Wolsey Company, Inc., by Charles W. Lanagan, for permistsion
to erect, on Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 51 65 7 Bedford Street, and on Lots 8 and
9 Winter Street, Lexington, single-family dwellings and attached garages,
the construction of which would not conform with the requirements of the
Lexington Building By-law, in accordance with the plans submitted.
Hearings were declared closed at 9:11 p.m. and the following'
decisions reached in executive session:
Loreto Visco - granted
Laurence B. Trombetta - granted
Arthur J. Williams - denied
Charles W. Lanagan - granted
The meeting qas adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
