ting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmenls
Office Building, on January 6, 7949. Chairman Locke,
man, Rich, Lynah and Houdlette were present. The clerlt
esent.
At 8F02 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following
hearings: !,
Professor John H. Judge for permission to operate an academy
on the premises located at 114 Concord Turnpike, Lexington.
John T. FitzGeraIld for the Lexington Post 3007, Veterans of'.
Foreign Wars,Inc., for permission to use the upper wooden portionof
the "Fire Station" presently located on Meriam Street, Lexington,+to
complete the erection of a building at 2 Hayes Lane to be used as
headquarters of Lexington Post N0.3007, Veterans of Foreign Wars..
The hearings were declared closed at 8:40 p.m. and in executive
session the following conclusions were reached:
Professor John H. Judge - granted
John T. FitzGerald for the Lexington Post #3007 Veterans of
Foreign Wars, Inc. - granted
The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
