MUD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
December 16, 1948
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen?s
Room, Town Office Building, on December 16, 1948. Chairman Locke`,
Messrs. Ripley, Lynah, Rich and Ballard were present. The clerk
was also present.
At 8 00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following;
petitions
George B. Medeiros for permission to erect on Lot 9 Middlebr
Road a dwelling known as the Wolsey House, the construction of
which would not comply with the Lexington Building By-law.
Thomas F. Connors for permission to alter the existing one-
car garage located at 2151 Massachusetts avenue into a two-car
garage which would result in a side yard less in width than that
required by the Lexington Zoning By-law.
Salvador Cassella for permission to make an addition to thei
existing dwelling at 97 Reed Street, Lexington, which addition would
be closer to the garage on the premises than allowed by the Lexing-
ton Building By-law.
Arthur J. Williams for permission to erect part of a dwelling
in accordance with plans submitted of a dwelling known as the Wolsey
House, the construction of which would not conform with the require-
ments of the Lexington Building Law, on Lots 13 and 14 North Street
these lots not having the area required under the Lexington Zoning
By-laws.
The hearings were declared closed at 8:45 p.m. and after due
consideration in executive session the following decisions were
reached
George B. Nedeiros - granted
Thomas F. Connors - granted
Salvador Cassella - granted
Arthur J. Williams - denied.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
