HomeMy WebLinkAbout1948-12-02 73 BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS December 2, 1918 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmenrs Room, Town Office Building, Lexington, on December 2, 1948. Char- man Locke, Messrs. Duffy, Ballard, Lynah and Rich were present. The clerk was also present. Hearings were heard on the following petitions. W. E. Doran for permission to erect and maintain a greenhouse and boiler room at 154 East Street. Abbott Spray & Farm Equipment Company for permission to maikL- tain a retail gasoline and oil station at 916 Waltham Street. Shell Oil Company, Inc. for permission to construct a 2-bay lubritorium addition of Colonial design to the existing service station at Massachusetts Avenue and Maple Street. Hearings were declared closed at 9:15 p.m. In executive session following the hearings the following decisions were reached W. E. Doran - granted Abbott Spray and Farm Equipment - denied Shell Oil Co.,Inc. - denied The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 p.m. Catherine Parello, Clerk 1
