HomeMy WebLinkAbout1948-10-28 69 BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS October 28, 1948 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen'Is Room, Town Office Building, on October 28, 1948. Chairman Locke, Messrs. Lynah, Ripley, Duffy, and Ballard were present. The clerW was also present. At 8:00 p.m. the following petitions were heard: Maxine J. Mowll for permission to conduct a kindergarten at 19 Oakland Street between the hours of 9:00 to 12 00 a.m. for a period of one year. George A. Selfridge for permission to erect dwellings on twd lots on Manning Street which are the subdivision of three lots shown on plot plan submitted as Lots 36, 37, 38, the new lots having frontage and area less than that required by the Lexington Zoning By-law. First Parish Church, Harrington Road, for permission to make a one-story addition of third class, instead of second class, con4 struction. Donald Kourian for permission to operate a temporary sawmill on the premises numbered 121 Grove Street. Elenoir C. Hood for permission to teach piano at 141 Reed Street, Lexington During executive session following the hearings the followi*g decisions were rendered Elenoir C.
