HomeMy WebLinkAbout1948-06-255 5� BOARu OF APPEALS HEARING khme 25,,;1918 A meeting of the Boardof Appeals was held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, Lexington, on June 25, 1948. Chairman Locke, Messrs. Brown, Redman, Ripley, and Houdlette were present. The clerk was also present. At 8:04 p.m. the following petitions were heard: Gertrude Hammond for permission to use the residence located at 169 Grove Street, formerly occupied by two families and later occupied by a single family, as a two-family house. Gaetano A. Coscia for permission to subdivide Lot 100 on Hill- top Avenue and annex twenty-five feet of said Lot to Lot 101 in accordance with the plan submitted. John A. MacDonald for permission to use the room adjoining ;the kitchen and garage at 3112 Bedford Street for the storage and sale of fruits, vegetables, eggs, and chickens raised on the premises. Tho application stated that chickens would be slaughtered at a slaughter- house in Littleton. ' Loreto Giaco for Countryside Associates, Inc. for permissions to continue the operation of the present golf driving range located on Lowell Street, adjacent to Ye Olde Countryside. Albert and Charlotte E. Crocket for permission to erect, on Lot C, numbered 549 Marrett Road, a dwelling the construction of which would not meet the requirements of the Lexington Building By-law. Lawrence H. and Dorothy C. Bode for permission to erect on Lots A and B, numbered 555 Marrett Road, a dwelling the construction of which would not meet the requirements of the Lexington Building! By-law. At 9:35 p.m. the hearings were declared closed and in executive session the following decisions were made: Gertrude Hammond - granted (5 years) John A.
