HomeMy WebLinkAbout1948-06-0453 ' BOARD OF APPEALS HEARING June b, 1948 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's' Room, Town Office Building, on June 4, 1948. Acting Chairman,Rich, Messrs. Brown, Redman, Ripley and Houdlette were present. The clerk was also present. At 8:00 p.m. the hearings were declared open on the following! petitions: Willard P. Grush for permission to erect on lot 13 Colony Road, Lexington, a dwelling, the construction of which would not meet the requirements of the Lexington Building By -Law. Richard W. Hyde for permission to erect on lot #13, Cedar Street, a dwelling, the construction of which would not meet the re, quirements of the Lexington Building By-law. John 6tone Fitzgerald for permission to erect, on premises shown as Lots 40 and 41, Block 22, Dexter Road, Lexington on a plan by George H. Wetherbee, Jr., Civil Engineer, dated January 4, 1926, a dwelling and garage, the construction of which would not meet the re+ quirements of the Lexington Building By -Law. ' Lawrence W. Sharpe for permission to erect a dwelling and garage, the construction of which would not meet the requirements of the Lexington Building By-law, on Lot 15 and portions of Lots 14 ands 16 Nichols Road, as shown on plans submitted. Kieran J. Lowry for permission to extend the existing founda- tion at 286 Lincoln Street in accordance with plans submitted for the erection of a two -car lubritorium thereon; to store, underground 6,000 gallons of gasoline, 500 gallons of waste oil; and to store above ground 500 gallons of motor oil, 250 gallons of anti -freeze and 500 gallons of fuel oil, all in approved containers. Hearings were declared closed at 10:00 p.m. and the following decisions made in executive session: Richard W. Hyde 1 granted Willard P. Grush - granted Johnstone Fitzgerald - denied Kieran J.
