A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen'a
Room, Town Office Building, Lexington, on April 16, 1948. Chairman
Locke, Messrs. Brown, Houdlette, Duffy, Ballard were present. The
clerk was also present.
At 8:00 p.m. hearing was declared open upon the following
petitions:
H. Webster Thomas, Adblph W. Samborski, Rath Morey, George P
Wadsworth, Charles G. Davis, comprising the School Committee, for
permission to erect a public school on land lying between Adams
Street and Colony Road, an R 1 district, under the provisions of Sep -
tion 4, subsection 6 (b) and Section 9 of the Zoning Law of Lexington.
Burton Murray for permission to erect a single-family dwell-'
ing which would not have the required frontage on the premises show$L
as Lots 62 and 63 Prospect Hill Road, Lexington, on a copy of a plau
originally laid out and dated July 1924.
Lillian C. Kraff for permission to alter the attic of the
dwelling located at 259 Marrett Road, into an apartment.
' Anthony E. Colozzi for permission to maintain a physician's
office at 1963 Massachusetts Avenue.
The hearings were declared closed at 9:05 p m. and the follov-
ing decisions reached in executive session:
School Committee - granted
Burton Murray - granted
Lilllan C. Kraff - denied
Anthony E. Colozzi - granted
The meeting was adjourned at 9:55 p.m.
