BOARD OF APPEALS HEARING
January 23, 1948
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's
Room, Town Office Building, Lexington, on January 23, 1948. Chairmanâ–ş
Locke, Messrs. Rich, Brown, Redman and Houdlette were present. The
clerk was also present.
At 8:05 p.m. the hearings were declared open and the following
petitions heard:
Hugh T. Clark for permission to build on three lots shown on
plan filed with the application, said plan being a subdivision of fo*r
lots numbered 173, 174, 175, 176, Lots 173 and 1711 being located on
Eastern Avenue and Lots 175 and 176 being located on School Street, as
shown on a plan of "Grand View Terrace" by F. P. Cutter, C.E., dated
June 6, 1903, and recorded Middlesex Plan Book 1113 page 29. The peti-
tion also included application for permission: to build not closer than
seven-and-one-half feet from the side lot lines.
Karl Axelson for permission to add a breezeway and garage, in;
accordance with plan submitted with the application, to the existing;
dwelling which would not have the required side yard, at 244 East St.
Hearings were declared closed at 8:25 p.m. In the following
executive session these decisions were reached:
Hugh T. Clark - granted
Karl Axelson - granted
The meeting was adjourned at 9:55 p.m.
