BOARD OF APPEALS HEARING
July 31, 1947
A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's
Room, Town Office Building, on Thursday, July 31, 1917. Chairman
Locke, Messrs. Redman, Ballard, Brown and Duffy were present.
Mr. Locke submitted the name of Catherine Parello to the
Board to be voted upon for appointment to the Board of Appeals. Upon
motion made by Mr. Redman, seconded by Mr. Brown, it was unanimously
voted to appoint Catherine Parello as Clerk of the Board of Appeals.
Miss Parello accepted the appointment.
At 8:02 hearings were declared open and the following heard:
C. H. Erickson for R. F. Goggin, for permission to maintain
the present 8-inch brick foundation around the existing building,
located at 1436 Massachusetts Avenue, in place of the 12-inch founda-
tion as the building law requires.
Community Nursery School, Inc. for permission to erect on the
premises owned by the Community Nursery School, Inc. on Massachusetts
Avenue, the erection of a building the construction of which will not
meet the requirements of the Lexington Building By-law.
After consideration in executive session the following deci-
sions were made:
C. H. Erickson - granted .,
Community Nursery School - denied
The meeting adjourned at 10:55 p.m.
