Tri -Ton Coalition Advisory Board Meeting
Meeting Minutes
April 23, 2025
2:00 PM Via Webex
Attendees: Susan Lumenello, Director Burlington Board of Health, Alicia McCartin, Associate
Director Lexington Board of Health, Shelly Newhouse, Director Wilmington Board of Health,
and Katie Capobianco, Shared Services Coordinator
I. Approval of Minutes
• Approval of March 19, 2025 meeting minutes - approved.
II FPHS Tools
• Shelly advised that she has completed both parts of the FPHS Tool.
• Burlington has also completed both parts of the FPHS Tool
• Alicia has not seen an email from Janice Chen about completing it but will follow up
with Janice.
IV Strategic Plan
• HRiA would like to hold three, two hour long follow up meetings to go over the planning
sessions results. Shelly feels that three two hour long meetings will be too much and that
perhaps have HRiA send some information and then feedback can be provided.
• Katie will communicate with HRiA that the Advisory Board would like to review the
information, add comments, and then schedule one, two hour long review meeting.
VI Tobacco Updates
• Tahycha is scheduled to finish up inspections and will be in Lexington on Monday and
Tuesday mornings.
VIII New Business
• Susan and Katie reviewed the budget and have been advised that if we take the full third
installment and do not spend it the funds are returned to the state general fund. However,
if we know we are not going to spend the entire third payment we can take a portion of it
and the funds can be redistributed within the PHE communities.
• Please let Katie know of any additional spending prior to June 30, 2025.
• Alicia requested that registration for one of the Lexington Board of Health members be
covered to attend the MHOA Conference Certificate program and their hotel expenses.

• Katie will send Alicia and Shelly the updated budget guidelines on covered expenses.
• A reminder to use Tri -Ton o,burlin tg on.org for any work requests.
The next Tri -Ton Advisory Board meeting will be rescheduled from 5/21/25 to 5/28/25 from
2:00 to 3:00. Katie will send out an updated invite.
