The minutes of the April 28, 1998 meeting were accepted as received by e-mail . CHAIRMAN: -Skip reported that the "Brainstorming Event" held on May 16, 1998 at the Visitors Center was well attended. Pat has the list of attendees and we will develop at least two databases from that list (those who were there and those who weren't) Another event may be planned for September for those who didn't attend. -Discovery Day, Saturday, May 23, 1998 : Our table will be on Mass Ave in front of Depot Square. We will be with the Lexington Minute Men and the Lexington Historical Society. We will have bookmarks, application forms and information sheets to handout . Paul Keane will be getting us T-Shirts and Hats. Theatre. Pharmacy may donate lollipops - Rob will follow up with Dave Tabeling. We will use the same signs that were used at the Press Conference (Map, Schedule) . Skip will be there all day. Suzie 10-12, George 12-2, Rob 2-4 -Paul Keane - Licensing of Lexington 2000 Logo: Skip spoke with Paul and he is interested in buying limited rights to the logo (i .e. he will give us a list of what he intends to put it on) Paul would return 6% of profit to us as donation. More follow up needed. -Fundraising: Skip is still interviewing fundraisers he hopes to have 2 at the July meeting. It was discussed that maybe the fundraisers should focus more on the businesses and we would do a town wide mailing to the residents looking for donations and possibily explaining the Neuman Candle Idea. -Local Businesses: Skip will talk to Bob Sacco with George to see if he will be willing to be the contact person for business support Banners • l of 2 6/2/98 2:58 PM Lexington 200b Minutes of 5/19/98 mailbox:/C%7C/WINDOWS/QFNONUNSCAPE32/PROG..ox?id=35744689.32D5@ix.netcom.com&number=0 -Skip asked Rob to contact Claudio Tracana of Spider Web Design and have him come to the June meeting and also do a mock up banner so we can take an actual banner and hardware before HDC in the Fall . TREASURER: -George handed out a Treasurers Report. He will work with Linda Liu to formulate a better budget and statement format . UPCOMING MEETING DATES: -June 16, 1998, 7 p.m. Room 111, Town Hall, Lexington (Expected Guest: Claudio Tracana, Spider Web Design) -July 21, 1998, 7 p.m. Room 111, Town Hall, Lexington (Expected Guests: Two Fundraisers) -August 18, 1998, 7 p m. Room 111, Town Hall, Lexington, MA TO DO LIST. SKIP: Fundraisers for July meeting. Discuss possible Town Wide mailing with Dan ROB: Invite Claudio to June 16th meeting for 7 15 p.m GEORGE.
