Representative Jay Kaufman, State Senator Susan Fargo, State Senator Robert Havern Skip Hayward called the meeting to order at 7 : 35 p m. PRESENTATION TO GUESTS- -Introductions were made and background of the events planned, needs and supplies were gone over with Mr. Marcellino -There was discussion over potential grants - Mr Marcellino said he would pass along the information to the Washington office and lend as strong support of Markey' s office as he can The discussion also referred to possible state and federal funding sources -Skip brought Mr. Marcellino up to date on the Commemorative quarter for Massachusetts and his efforts to get the Lexington Minute Man Statue on it (support already given for it, letter writing campaign) CHAIRMAN -The Committee approved the participation of the DAR along with Children for the year 2000 -There was more discussion about fundraising and the possibility of hiring a fundraiser.
