McKenna met with R. White (1) re loan fund--RW approves of idea and McKenna will work on draft. (2) RW suggested LHC be able to draw on fund to usefor raestoration or preservation. A list of guidelines, based on DiiBonti's experiences, for buyer and mover of houses. Both should meet with town official 6 weeks in advance to clear snags as far as possible. We should write guidelines, i.e. , specify that a foundation is part of a house. Phillips will talk to DiBonti's and work on draft. Meeting suspended 8:10 and resumed 9:15. McKenna also discussed with RW the commission's dissatisfaction with the way in which Gubisch 's removal from commission was handled. NEW PROCEDURE: If a vacancy occurs we notify town manager. He will send applicants to the commission. We will interview and recommend. He will then appoint new member. 3. Hagelstein reported she had tried to get information on total number of buildings considered in 1988 but there was no way to do so. Hagelstein will check monthly in the future. 4. Commission discussed issue of what is a "significant" building and who makes the determination. Adjourned, 9.45.
