It was decided to keep a log of all actions taken under provisions of the Demolition Delay Ordinance. In March, Gilman inspected and signed off on three requests to demolish garages. In Feb. , the Commission inspected a house on Lowell St. and Gilman and Bugeleteio agreed to sign off. 2. Gilman read a letter from Brookhaven. The developer agreed to place historical markers on the Old Path as a condition of the development: now they are seeking information on what the markers should say and where they should be placed. Gilman agreed to pursue this issue and Phillips agreed to assist in historical research, if necessary. The Commission examined a site map. 3. Gilman read a letter from town manager X. White stating that he was considering candidates for membership on the commission, which is short one person due to resignation of Dawn McKenna. 4. It was decided to give the 1989 Preservation Award to Patricia and William D''oute. Witthoft will explore the cost and feasibility of an engrave orouze plaque rather than a framed certificate. Witthoft will call Don Gillespie, of the Lexington Bicentennial Band, to ask if we may give the award at the first summer band concert. This was done successfully in 1988. 5.
