Gilman, MattOs, Witthoft Others- Susan Ryan, interviewee for membership on the commission to replace Isabella Hagelstein. Ms Ryan explained that she had worked for the Connecticut state Historical Commission in Hartford, drawing up historic district guidelines and boundaries, etc. The members present expressed favorable interest in having Ms Ryan appointed to the commission. She mentioned that she is not certain to be staying in the Lexington area, but will know before September (when the appointment would take place ) Gilman plans to attend informational meeting on "State Hospitals and State Schools of Mass " as possible National Register Multiple Property nominations The meeting is May 25 in Waltham. DEMOLITION REQUESTS 1 11 Chadbourne Rd, request to demolish a shed Gilman signed off on this one, a building of no interest and in very poor shape General discussion of the work of LHC, particularly for the benefit of Ms Ryan.
