Miriam said that the First Parish church will contribute space She also said that she felt that the Historical Society and Mr Mazzerell of the Park department should get together on what plantings might be made on historical property At the high school there is a teacher in the music department who is willing to make a study of colonial music and produce a concert for the bicentennial She would like $75 - $100 as a study grant Tony aaid that the Kiwanis Club might be interested in this type of project The motion was made to forward a letter to Mrs Peaslee that the LBC will assure her of money not to exceed $100 for such a study and that they will expect a concert Also at the High school, Mr Gillespie would like to have the students produce the musical play"1776" and are looking for0700 to $800 to go ahead with their plans After some discussion it was decided that Miriam should tell Mr Gillespie to contact Bob Reynolds of the Kiwanis for consideration of sponsorship of his project However this procedure was changed as it was felt that contact by Miriam with Bob Reynolds might be the better process This was decided so that the Kiwanis could then approach Mr Gillespie with an offer if they felt it worthwhile Bob urged Miriam to solidify her budget for the part of Bicentennial Dl which arts and culture will cover so that the costs can be itemized and the budget can show specific events Kin .r or to I nr,.-rr--) '- lcr r r r • - y ni Ar,ton n '";0;) L et, Fre T ti r-ue , b It .; c,, r ,4 r • f 1..,)r '4x -19.Ti 4 '11r I f I IIiH r11.» - 19 ' 1 ry L i , . 1 p r h ! n --R r r 1 , " C it r 1 1 I .? l• ' I ri r ^ I r k, 1 -1 t lir 1 t.
