Assembly* Mrs. Foot suggested that plans be made earlier next y rely same discussion, it was the sense of the meeting that after April Nineteenth, the Torn Celebrations Committee should moot with the League of women Voter s U.N, Contest represcentativc s;nd someone from the High School should attend the meeting. (The Student 'Council of the High School sets up a tentative schedule for assemblies for the year in May or June.) (Mr. Douglass extended an invitatimn to members of the Celebrations Committee to be present.) THANKSGIVING SERVICE: Speaker: Mr. Howard a aounoed that Judge Pierre A. Northrup, Presiding Justice or one Lietriot Court of Central Middlesex, had accepted tie invitation to speak at the 1960 Service. (Judge Northrup has boon a resident of Lexington for thirty..three years, It was suggested that, in the future, prominent Lexington citizens should be considered fire as speakers for the Thnr1sgaving Service,) Progame: 1000 programs will be ready by Friday, November eighteenth, The orn. should have programs in time for anaouncemente from the pulpits by S-waday„ the twentieth.. Youth Grou U' Participation: Mr. Howard announced that he had mat with the Council of C nu ahes and had suggested that church ' P,g� yaatsi groups be urged to participate in the Thanksgiving Service by coming as groups. Flowers: Mr. Howard will order flowers for the podium which will be given to res. Sandberger, Music Director, after the ear vice in appreciation 63 her contribution as organist and choir director.
