POST PARADE RECEPTION; Vice—chairman Gaughan will be the TCC appo,weee
to the joint committee, He has already conducted further lnvestiguteLF,
regarding the use of Heritage Hall. Mr. Fit,zgeraJd told the TCC tbout
procedures which must be followed in order to obtain the use of the
Minute Man school; he Ieeeied the committee that, in all nrobebil2ty,
our request would be granted.
Further discussion resulted in general agiaement that he TCC
might well wish to bring official guests to the reviewing st,aDdp and
later, to the reception, via bus. Mr. Gaughan will invest2gate this.
PARADE ORGANIZATION: Chief Marshal Broderick noted that he had iaou2
from 4 additional units. The TCC agreed to invite the 2 which ,.,7-111 coTle
at no charge now; Mr. Flynn volunteered to contact the drill teafxon
St. Francis Xavier to determine their interest et a greatly reduced foo.
Our present count of expected marchers stands at 1900, excLuding
all military. Approximately 700 Colonials, including the Centennal
Legion, are expected. Our present committed budget stands at S2555.
DEADLINES FOR PARTICIPANTS: It was moved by Mr. Gaughan, seconded by
Mr. Fitzgerald, and voted unanimously that the published deadline for
both warching units and floats be extended to February 16, 3975 . The
only exceptions to the Feb. 16 postmarked final date are organized
vilitary units of the United States oy4 a the Commonwealth‘ mtes Ax:
Gonaglo will see that, proper noise of this action as publised :a the
Minute Man.

Gaughan, and voted unanimously that the Parade Orders to be sent

Chief Marshal Broderick noted that the parade de orders su e�'ceae

in to the Town to march, a f it should become necessary -to halt other
cors. It was agreed that Mr. Barnes, Mr. Broderick, Mr. Tar/ in,
and
the police traffic officer would discuss the matter morefully; however..
the committee agreed that Mr. Brocorick might well wish to t;rite all
units with the advice that they should most seriously consider coming, by
bus, since provis IO I for ,,rivate cars cannot be guaranteed.
FISKE HILL; It was a grey d. Mz art the Fiske Hill ceremonies should be
held on the Sunday prior to April 19; MT.. Coopers will make arrangements
for the Boy Scouts. He also agreed to ask that Scouts be' prepared to
serve as Division Aides for the afternoon parade. -
TCC members present at the ceremonies last year noted that the PA
system was needed here, too. After a brief discussion; it was agreed
that Chmn. Barnes should undertake the .3. es w ons:a biJ.i- y of obtaining
repair or replacement of any necessary portions of the committee public
address equipment well in adv.tnce of possible need.
YOUTH PARADE: Mrs. Mitchell will contact former TCC member Ralph Lord;
who has previously volunteered to act as E <.aa son at the High School, both
regarding the youth parade and food sales in the afternoon iarade assembly
area.
DECOhAT1ONS: Mr. Fitzgerald reported that he had been in contact with

our past supplier. The TCC agreed that the usual decorations should
be our responsibility, while noting that there would be a larger reviewing
stand and some provision for overflow seating. Mr. Fitzgerald agreed
to inquire ..bout a provision for cover for the reviewing stand,.
