A.M. PAADE: Chmn. Barnes outlined the format for the A.M. parade
which will start at 7 : 30. Open discussion followed and questions
from the group were answered.
NLOATS : Heil Cronin reported on the float prizes for this year and
ra1F-ed -the question of judges . He agrees that our suggestion of.
March 6, relative to the Arts and Crafts Society, was a good one
and will aid us wherever posaible.
MES-;AG' CfiNTER: Mr. Beebe and Mr. -lantlemann reported excellent
progress and response on the plans for the message center. Their
also will be able to furnish help at strategicl_ocations in the
town. Yr Barnes suga•ested that they work In conjunction with the
First Aid Stations and Red Gross facilities. They have volunteers
co, ging from Conn. to help.
PARADE PA 'i'IUIi ll'T 'S : The L.B.C. has exercised its option and voted
to have the Clydesdale Horses and Kentucky Mules in the 1- .11. Parade.
u.T: Mr. Doyle of the Minutemen reported that the Reenact-
ment is set for 6 tj. . and the morning exercises are being readjusted
to allows the Minutemen to take part in the stamp Issue ceremony.
They have changed the post-parade reception to the Clarke School.
He was assured by Cheif l arshall Broderick that identification for
units will be settled after the meeting with the Police Department.
SCOUTS : After the misunderstanding in dates was clarified (April 12)
Mr. Cooper reported that the Scouts are ready for Fiske Hill.
REPO -'TS : Mr. Flynn sees no major problem in his area at this time.
Mr. Gaughan has plans firmed up fpr the reception and will
get together with the L.B.C . sub-committee to get their approval .
Mr. Brenchick reports 28 float applications to date and is
worlring on signs. He asked for permis,i-n to purchase wigs (in
lieu of yearly rental ) at a cost of ->75. Motion carried.

staff meetin7 .Lor Saturday March 22 at 9 A.N. at the Visitor' s
Center. He is in receipt of a letter from Allerpo Temple telling

pay them J100. Mr. Barnes will inform them. Motion pas ed.
Cheif Marshall Broderick will ask the Faks to sflonsor the
Nutmeg Volunteers as they have in the past. If not, we will agree
to their fee provided 60 persons march. Voted to offer the
Conn. Yanks 300 ,o appear.
