assistance of the Ameteur Radio buffs in setting up a message center
to allow visitors to send a bicentennial message back home . This
service is free . Red Cross Chanter Rouse was suggested as a possible
base of oper^tions . Mrs . McGonagle will assist as liason for the
committee. The possibility of further help to assist in inter-town
communications was mentioned, contingent on their getting the
necessary help.
BOX LTTNCHES: Food for Children of Vietnam Committee of St. Brigid' s
Church will sell box lunches at the church from 11 to 2 on
April 19th.
FINANCES : Committee authorized the payment of 552.50 for new
stationery.
PA10, )T PARTICIPANTS : Committe members reportedontheir specific
areas of responsibility and no maior problems seemed to have occurred
to date. Mr. Barnes will once again attempt to get an account of
the pa.ra'le na.rticinants coming from Concord to Lexington. It is
vital that the Cheif Marshall have this information.
Motion was made to reconsider the action on the Clydesdale
Horses taken by T.C .C . at the last L.9.C .-T.C .C . meeting. After
reconsideration, the committee voted 4 to 3 not to invite them to
participate in the parade.
Mr. Barnes informed the comrnittee of a recuest from the
Le-rinrton, ?Kentucky Mule Team to take part in the p^rade. T e T.C .C .
1-)oks with favor on the overall plan of this group but, in view of
the previous notion on the Clydesdales, voted not to allow the mules
in the parade . Mr. Brenchick will ask for more information onthe
group From Mr. Tarlin, and perhaps we can arrange something in
lieu of parade participation.
FLOATS : Committee has asked Mr. Brenchick to check with the Arts
and Crafts Society relative to furnishin- judges for the floats.
PT°RNINCT ,PARIR• The Morning p^rade will be discussed at the next
meeting, March. 13, and the ladies will notify all youth groups of
the meeting.

and donnhnvts after the pnrnde.
PARKING: Mr. Barnes will write to Yr. Cullen of Liberty Mutual
Insurance Company (Lexinmton) renueeti_nm 11-3e of their park_inr* lot
for tic 19th. He will also inform the Minutemen of our objection
to their using the TIigh School for a Post Parade Reception. We
need all the available parking space at the school.
Iu TUIFICATION: Mr. Fitzgerald will bring in some samples of
I.D. material for the commit -ee to consider.
