Contacts have been made to all participants Firm to date - Combined Junior High School Band L H S. High School Band Schecter Group Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts Doug Maxner and "Spirit of 76" Chairman Fitzgerald reported the Shriner' s Band will come to Lexington -- a minimum of 300 men and a possibility of 500 The Lexington Elks are underwriting all expenses for the Shriners Parade Committee will put the Shriners in the 2nd Division and the Elks Float is to go into 2nd Division also All Shriners must be kept together in one division T C C will have to furnish man power to aide at Elks Hall and supply 5 - 6 buses for transportation to East Lexington T C C will have to arrange for parking area for buses near the swimming pool so they can find their buses quickly in order to get back to Elks Hall T C C must supply a small reviewing stand for Shriners Staff to review their contingent Ray Flynnstated that all of the mailings to participants in P M. will be completed by this weekend Dawn Brenchick made contact with schools for volunteers to aid at Adams School in parade formation and placing of Banners and Banner Bearers A suggestion was made that banner bearers should meet at a central location - i e Muzzey Junior High and be transported to Adams School by bus The Sunday Re-enactment of the retreat was approved by Town Manager T C C will meet with Mr. John Van from Minute-Man Council next week They will request he supply Town Manager with a copy of the days activities signed by Mr. Van The meeting was adjourned at 10 30 Respectfully submitted, Frances P Mallett Recording Secretary
