Present Chairman Fitzgerald, Vice Chairman Flynn, Bob Jackson, Dawn Brenchick,
Karen Gaughan, Jean Coates, Marion Snow, Fran Mallett
Business James R Corr, Lexington Police Department, has been appointed as
Chief Marshall of Patriots Day Parade.
Marion Snow will notify, by letter, the selectmen of his appointment
and acceptance
Chairman Fitzgerald reported on Elks and Shriners - Elks need a Parade
Roster Buses for transportation are arranged.
Shriners will be in Second Division and Elks float will be with
Shriners in Second Division.
Buses will report to Elks Hall at 12 15 and will leave from there at
12 45 Bill Fitzgerald will be at Elks Hall to escort Shriners to
East Lexington and aid them as he can The buses will return to their
parking place by Skating rink As the Shriners come into the area
after the parade, they will be loaded onto buses and return to Elks
Hall with Police escort

Karen Gaughan reported Lexington Youth Hockey for A. M Parade
Committee OK'd the recruitment of Banner Bearers If we have too many
young people, they will be allowed to march in the Parade as a unit

Dawn met with Mr. Nichols at High School to recruit 8 to 12 young people
to act as aides to help with banner bearers.

Town Celebrations Committee - February 25, 1982
Ray Flynn has contacted Paul Mazerall, D.P.W. regarding reviewing
stand and small reviewing stand for Shriners staff.
Town Celebrations Committee voted to invite Mr Charles Cullen to
act as "Chief of Staff" Will finalize next week - March 4, 1982
Town Celebrations Committee ruled we cannot grant special
privileges to any group of photographers We will be happy
to have them come and they will have to find their own locations
The Lexington Chamber of Commerce will help the Committee with
sponsors and plan as they did last year.
