Present. Chrm. Fitzgerald, Paul Jenkins, Pat Flynn, Jean Coates, Bob
Jackson, Karen Gaughan, Fran Mallett
Guests. John Vann.) Chrm. Mass. Minute Men Council re April 15th re-
enactment. To form at Fiske Hill at 11.45. Leave Fiske Hill
at 12.10. Arrive at Hastings at 12:15. Leave Hastings at 1:15.
Arrive at Lexington Green at 1:35. Arrive at Munroe Tavern at
2 15 and Tower Park at 2:35. LeaveJower Park at 3: 15 and proceed
to Arlington.
They will have 4 buses for transportation--to be parked at Four
Season's store.
The Minute Men and the British will have an encampment at
Minute-Man Regional School . This will be open to the public on
Sat. 4/14/84 and for a short 'time on Sunday 4/15/84. Included
will be 3 British regiments from Canada, 10th regiment of foote--
250 men all together. There will be 117 British tents. The
Minute Men will join the British at the encampment at Minute
Man Regional School .
Chrm. Fitzgerald has discussed with Reverend Dixon, pastor at
Baptist Church and president of Lexington Council of Churches,
in regards to timing for reenactment because this is Palm Sunday.
If necessary, the timing will be changed in order to accomodate
the churches.
Business Chrm. Fitzgerald appointed Ray Flynn to handle all musical units
and Bob Jackson to handle all military and marching units for
Patriots Day.
T.C.C. will discuss horses in a.m. parade early and announce
necessary precautions to people who are interested in participating
in parade.
T.C.C. will invite Lexington Minute Men to meet with Committee on
January 19, 1984
