Business The T C C voted to invite Richard Grogan to serve as Chief Marshall
of Veteran' s Day Parade and Gresh Lattimore to be Chief of Staff -
So moved
The committee also worked on balance of roster for Patriot' s Day
No final decisions were made
Progress
Report Bob Jackson reported Fort Devens will send a color guard and
marching unit
The Adj General Office - Military Division reported our request
for National Guard Contingent is being reviewed
He has requested the Air Force float - Not finalized Minute Man
Tech R 0 T C will be here
Bill Fitzgerald reported the Lex Historical Society will have
fire engine and hand tub
League of Women Voters will attempt to position better
Troop 160 will have banner bearers available
Fire Dept contingent is all 0 K
Chief Furdon has 0 K 'd Honor Guard for both A M and P M Parades
Spirit of 76 - Philip Macauda will be drummer - We will request
Minute Men to supply fife
John Vann - Minute Man Council - They will follow 1982 plan-with the
difference in time as approved They will arrive at Hastings Park
at 1 00 P M and proceed as planned to Tower Park - arriving there
at 330 P M

Agenda for March
March 1st - The Minute Men will meet with Committee to report of
finalizing of their plans.
March 8th - Karen Gaughan will report on Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and
other youth groups.
Amateur radio will discuss their plans for Patriot's Day
March 15th- Pat Flynn will meet with Youth Commission at 9 00 P M
The Committee is requesting Chief Marshall , Chief of Staff
and all aides meet with us
March 22nd- Open Meeting
March 29th- Chief Marshall , Chief of Staff and all aides to clear up
any problems John Vann of the Minute Man Council
Bill requested Karen to send float applications to all participants of
1983 parade
