Guests Capt Commanding Charles Price, Lexington Minute Men
Plans for Patriots Day
5 30 - Minute Men assemble
6 00 - British arrive - 10th Regiment of Foot
Battle will proceed as before
Minute Men will be ready for Parade at 7 30
Ceremonies on Green at 8 30
Minute Men will receive British consul and escort him to Colonial Cemetery
to decorate British soldiers grave, and also decorate Capt Parker' s
grave
At 11 00 A. M they will escort D.A R to decorate revolutionary monument
At 1 00 P M Minute Men will meet Paul Revere and John Dawes at the monument.
For Service for the Parade -
for Minute Men 1 bus at Kennedy at 7 00 A M
1 bus at Kennedy at 12 30 P M
1 bus at Statue at 1 00 P M
There will also be a shuttle bus at Lexington High School Parking Lot at 1 00 PM
Youth Parade
Program is as follows
Spirit of '76 - followed by Chief Marshall - L H S class president - Class
of 1985 and 3 aides Followed by Lexington Minute Men - Police and Fire
Dept Honor Guard, followed by V I P The parade will consist of 2
divisions
The services on the common will be as before - the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts
We will need a high school bugler for taps and echo
Lexington Minute Men will supply color detail with David Boyd in charge
The Minute Men will fire a single volley
Progress Report:
The Pease Air Force Band will participate in parade There is a possibility
they will bring their Concert Band to play on the Green between
12 45 and 2 15
Pat Flynn Northeastern R 0 T C will not participate
M D C Horse Patrol is on hold - will notify us at later date
He contacted Devens - Aircraft or helicoptors will fly over Parade Route.
Bill Fitzgerald Contacted Budweiser about horses They will notify us later
Ray Flynn Positive - St. Johnsbury; Mass Maritime; Hayden Group; Lady Marines
