Business Reviewed the events of Patriots Day with suggestion for 1986
Re-enactment Rope off area for media They should stay within roped area or
leave Reserve an area for wheelchairs Post events of the day on
Bulletin Board near Monument
Y outh Parade T C C discussed attendance at early Parade Very few people
below Pelham Road The suggestion made that parade start at Four Seasons
driveway Ceremonies on Battle Green, young people, Scouts - Girl Scouts
etc - L H S young people handled parade well
Road Race 250 people participated
Band Concert on common from 1 - 2 was very well received
All the Lexington Selectmen welcomed Paul Revere and Williams Dawes
The problems at Desk in Staging Area were very few We have decided we should
start the spirit earlier to give a chance to get ahead of balance of Parade
Parade There was a gap in 1st division caused by Sudbury Minute Men
and three back-ups at end of Parade caused by not dispersing quickly
enough Suggestion that Chief of Staff aides and 1st division aides help
keep the disbursement area at Ball Field clear
T C C will have a meeting with Banner Bearers and give them their 1985 pins
Chrm Fitzgerald assigned letters to the committee to write to honored guests
Meeting was adjourned at 10 15
