Present. Chairman Fitzgerald, Vice Chairman Flynn, Karen Gaughan, Marion
Snow, Pat Flynn, Bob Jackson, Jean Coates, and Fran Mallett.
Guests: Angus F. MacIver V.F W.
Veterans Day Parade: Parade will step off promptly at 10.00 A. M. Proceed
to Buckman Tavern to Soldiers Memorial . L. H. S. Band will stay
on left hand side of Mass. Ave. followed by Board of Selectmen,
Honored Guests , Fire Dept Honor Guards , Lexington Minute-Men,
Elks Marching Units, on right side of Mass Ave. Youth Groups,
Lexington Girl Scouts , Campfire Girls, Lexington/Bedford Youth
Hockey, Lexington Boy Scouts , and Little League - Airforce Jr
R.O.T.C. Minute-Man Tech and Bedford' High School
At Veterans Monument Parade will halt for placeing wreath and
a One Round Volley by Marine Corps League and Taps - The Parade
will turn left onto the Green and assemble as instructed by Chief
Marshall after a welcome by Winston E. Flynn of T.C.C. and an
introduction of Angus F. MacIver, Chief Marshall and Master of
Ceremonies. The ceremonies will proceed with Invocation by Rabbi
Bernard Eisenman, Temple Emunah, the reading of the Governors
Proclaimation by Board of Selectmen John C. Eddison and greetings
from the State by Representative Steven Doran -- A wreath laying
by Lexington Minute-Men and Lexington Girl Scouts.
With a joint detail by Civic and Veterans Organizations and a call
to Colors by L H S Bugler, the playing of the National Anthem -
Taps and Ehoe - Presentation of the MIA flag by Richard Saparia,
Exalted Ruler BPOE Elks , and laying of wreath cy James F Mitchell
