Mr. Gaughan noted that, at the meeting with the Selectmen on Monday, March 14, those TCC members present had been given to understand that there would be some money (about $500 00) remaining in the Leroy Brown fund which could be made available to the TCC. In addition, there has been a tentative response towards contributing toward expenses which has come as a result of the article in the Lexington Minuteman, the letter in the Chamber of Commerce newsletter, and contacts made by individuals. Therefore, the TCC agreed to issue parade invitations to the following units (contributions toward each unit are noted) Lexington High School - $100 (am & pm parades inclusive) Clan McPherson -$200 Fitchburg High School $260 Arlington Heightsmen - $300 Debonnaires - $350 Holy Name Band - $350 Royal Columbian Drum Corps - $350 Peabody High School - $300 St. Agnes Senior Band - $350 Waltham Post X6156 American Legion - $400 These units, in total, will obligate the TCC for $2960. Mr Flynn and Mrs Mitchell will notify those units accepted, however, no rejections will be sent this week, pending further work within the area of unit sponsorship.
