TOWN CELEBRATIONS COMMITTEE

Business - National Heritage Museum called R.E. British re-enactment They
would like to have a program for Sunday P.M. 4/30 - >i e. British March
into Parking Lot
T C C will discuss with Brig Genrl Chapman.
T C C. received call from Washington, D C R.E Coast Guard Band.
Lex M.M. voted 100% to represent Lex. in Boston's 350th Anniversary
They will have as many men as possible and a color guard.
R.E M M. Lex Flag - we will discuss with B 0 S when proper dimensions
are presented.
Lex. M.M. are invited to Concord Parade T C C. will invite Concord
M.M to Lex Parade
T C C felt the Parade Theme - "1980 - A New Decade for Democracy" -
be released to paper at once
Parade - Progress Report -
Ray Flynn has sent out 35/40 notices to participants - 10/15 to go.
Possible Marching units -
Coast Guard, Quantico Band, Pease Air Force Base, Marine detail
Color Guard
Contact Lex M.M. Editor - Publicity on Theme 1/14
T C C to invite new Editor of Lex M.M to meeting on 1/21
Discuss with Editor -
(1) request to hi-lite items
(2) as we get closer to deadline - must have better coverage
Discuss with editor - How should we handle publicity?
Parade - Next week will discuss "Chief Marshall"
T C C request "Blue Knights" participate in Parade.
