Dear tars. Miley:'
I -have--appreciate the opportunity to--serve t:-
the Town during the past year as the Board's designee on the
Hanscom Field Advisory Committee. Our efforts during that year --
both legislative and regulatory -- have provided the four towns
abutting Hanscom Field with assurances that noise impacts from
activity at the Field will not grow and that developments at
Hanscom will take place under the scrutiny and with input from
these same towns.
, The ,Commhttee. is now to be dissolved and the
Hanscom Field Commisst9gHb rought into being. Its first major task
will be to monitor and indp,ed help with the data collection necessary
to analyze the results pf the PJoi s,e Rule by the end of the Eighteen
Month Review Period.
If the_.Bo-argil-so wishes, I would be happy to
represent Lexington on the.-Co9ntnission -- at least through the Review
Period. ,
Sincerely yours,
Jacquelyn Smith
Chairman, Hanscom Field
Advisory Committee
