Halpern B Nowak J Halverson H Erickson W Sen There was a brief discussion of the Hayden Center, and Muzzey and Munroe schools as possible sites for Lexington's senior center If the School Dept moved into Munroe, then the "White House" might also be available. Muzzey would be costly to renovate, but because it has a gym, auditorium and kitchen facilities, it would be attractive to other groups and agencies - such as the Recreation Dept - which might share such a facility The Needs Assessment subcommittee has undertaken a survey of key people in 17 human service agencies in this area. Their next meeting will be on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 1978. Bill Sen reported on the Dept of Elder Affairs' notification of availability of additional federal funds Because Lexington has not identified a senior center site, we cannot apply Joe Rooney and Nancy Banks will meet Sept 13 with the directors of the Hayden Center to explore the question of using it as a site for the senior center. On Friday, Sept 15, there will be a meeting at 3 00 p m. in the Selectmen's meeting room of the Human Services Coucil Members of this committee are encouraged to attend
