I Is there a need?
Council on Aging felt the only way was to establish an on-going center
II Immediate need is for CoA to obtain new location.
1 Present location not accessible
2 Expanded programming
Still do not know how many will use facility - so want to start small-
Would need outreach worker to encourage people to use facility
CoA can provide this with their CETA outreach worker.
III List of locations
Are we working on temporary location?
Churches - All looked at and have conflicting schedules
Cary Hall - Is possibility
White House - Most desirable but not available right now
Church of our Redeemer - Contact Bob Howard
IV Space needs for new CoA offices
Office for CoA
Space for drop-in center
Minimum of 3 rooms
1 large room
2 small rooms
small kitchen area

VI Check what funding is available?

Community Development Monies
VII Joe Rooney and Leslie York will check Cary Hall and Church of our Redeemer
as to possible use, costs, etc
