MINUTES FOR NOVEMBER 20 , 1986
PRESENT Bill Hays , Donald Wilson , Pavid Eagle, Jean Gaudet ,
Linda Conrad, and Ronald Colwell
Bill Hays reported that three Selectmen attended the Open House
at Emerald Street lie was told to go ahead with the advertising for
rental Ile handed out to the Board the report and pictures of the
problems in Unit 102
There was a discussion of Unit 358 rental Linda Conrad
stated that GBCD did not send out the letters about our unit, as
they had said they would They also refused to give us names of
prospects until their rent-up is completed
There was a discussion about the advertising , and a review
and correction of the advertising planned by Linda Conrad Linda
will handle the advertisement , and letters to the Chamber of Commerce
and Metco
There was a discussion about the cost of buying the Emerald Street
house, and transfer of funds by Mr Hutchinson to LE`'.HAP There is
hope that both units can be rented by January 1 The latest rental
schedule by the State is $570 for a one bedroom, $670 for a two
bedroom, and $840 for a three bedroom Jean Gaudet moved to go ahead
with the outreach, seconded by Ron Colwell
There was a discussion about Liability Insurance Dave Eagle
will call the Town Manager for further information Nothing has been
heard from Simpson, Gumpertz and Heger iinda will call

There was a discussion about the electric hills in our units
The Merriman' s are spending 65% of their income of electricity
The summer bill averages $60- -the winter bill, $300 Dave will
have an electrician examine the situation to see if it can be
improved IIe will also handle the weatherization of the units
The next meeting will be held on December 18, at 8p m
