William Hays, David Eagle, Donald Wilson, and Sherry Edmonds Mr Kevin Gafney and his father appeared before the Board requesting permission to rent his unit to Mr Raymond Pucci David Eagle asked Mr Gafney his intentions with the unit. Mr Gafney stated, his wife doesn't want to live there, but he does He wants to hold on to his unit, and maybe sell it to his sister in a couple of years He said he doesn't have it as an investment, and he doesn't think his request to rent is unreasonable David Eagle pointed out that the units are suppose to be owner occupied, and he felt Mr Pucci was over the income limitations Bill Hays said that at the interview Mr Gafney said he was buying it for his own use, and that the restriction on renting was stated in the Land Document The purpose of the project, and the Town Commitment, was for occupancy by the owners, except for the Lexhab units Mr Gafney's general request to rent had been considered last year, and the Board had denied the request Bill said he doubted the Board would make a decision until the name of a prospective rentor, and the income statements were presented to the Board. He said a qualified applicant will be considered, if presented MINUTES The minutes for July 9th were approved with the addition, During the meeting Stephen Boran came in to tell Bill Hays that the Fair Housing Committee meeting was cancelled. The minutes for July 2nd were approved with the addition to Paragraph 2, Given primary concern to need. The Minutes for May 21 were approved as read. Tenants The non-compliance by Mr and Mrs Martin to submit income tax statements was discussed. ON-E-eOU-NTRYS+DE-WLLAGE LEXINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS 02173 863-5362 Minutes for August 13, 1986 -2- coming immediately, we will conclude they are not interested in renewing the lease All other leases for renewal will be signed by Bill Hays The Menotomy Weatherization program will provide Unit 104 with thermal shades for five windows There was an update on Diane Johnson's case BUILDING SURVEY The Town Manager wants to use the Board's money to make repairs, rather than do the survey Dave Eagle will check on the meeting that took place between Mr Hutchinson and Mr Kirk Noyes Bill Hays will call Peter DiMatteo to see if the Trustees want the survey He will also talk to Mr Eddison about the Selectmen's meeting, and consideration for full report of the survey The meeting adjourned at ,10 30 Respectfully submitted, Joan M.
