Minutes for May 21, 1986
Present, William Hays , David Eagle, Donald Wilson, Sherry Edmonds ,
and Linda Conrad
Guest, Allen M Lieb, Architect
Mr Lieb gave us a description of his qualifications and past work
Bill Hays gave a general explanation of the problems at Muzzey High
Condominium David Eagle gave a detailed explanation of the problems
with heat pumps, electricity, windows , and cost of heating There
is a question about all the building codes being met
Edison has not updated the amount of electricity coming into the
building and Kirk Noyes has sent a letter to their lawyer
Lexhab will need documentation per unit of repairs needed Mr Lieb
estimated his cost at 5-6000 dollars , plus engineers fees He will
give a detailed cost for repairs , photos , and cost analysis Lexhab
agreed to undertake the survey for the protection of all in the
building The vote was unanimous Mr Lieb estimated the survey
would take two weeks , and another two weeks for the report to be
ready He will give an initial inspection of some of our units

There was a discussion about the rental of Unit 349 Sherry Edmond
made a motion to offer the unit to Mr Valeriano Garcia, who had

previously been approved It was so voted An application will be
sent to him immediately Dave suggested that all applicants be called
by Joan to see if they are still interested Applications will be sent
to all interested parties for Unit 347 that will be available the
first of July Linda offered to handle the advertisement for up-
dating our list and criteria Linda made a motion, seconded by
Sherry, that our rent schedule remain the same It was so voted
Sherry offered to check the lease, and renewal regulations Don
offered to check on fuel subsidies for our tenants Linda made a
motion, seconded by Don, that a letter be drawn up explaining our
position to persons interested in buying a Condo in the future
Bill agreed to compose such a letter Bill will also find out
when our warranty period is up
Bill asked if all agreed to be polled by telephone on Allen Lieb ' s
proposal It was unanimous
Dave made a motion, seconded by Don, to pay Palmer and Dodge ' s
bill It was so voted
A Wednesday morning meeting will be scheduled to discuss future
plans for acquiring housing
The next meeting wil be held on June 11 , at 8 p m in Room 201
