Traffic Safety Advisory Committee I Stevens-Sutherland Boa
Committee Members present:
Eric Clarke, Acting Chairman
Robert Bowyer, Planning Director
John W. Maloney
William F. Mix
Sgt. Robert Hickey, Police Department
On November 7, 1984 the Traffic Safety Advisory Committee considered the request of
George Grey in his letter of October 19, 1984 for a "Ste/ Sign or a "Go Slow
Children" sign at the intersection of Stevens and Sutherland Roads. Mr. Grey pointed
out that a number of children play on these streets and that motorists tend to speed
on Sutherland.
The Committee concluded that it was unlikely that traffic, along these streets would
meet warrant requirements for a "Stop" sign, but agreed to recommend installation of
a "Slow Children" sign on Sutherland near this intersection.
