HomeMy WebLinkAbout1987-10-26-TSAC-chg-revised.pdf CHARGE TO THE TRAFFIC SAFETY ADVISORY COMMITTEE There shall be a Traffic Safety Advisory Committee, adivsory to the Board of Selectmen, consisting of seven members The Police Chief or his designee, the Director of Public Works or his designee, and five citizens appointed by the Board of Selectmen The Board of Selectmen shall desig- nate the Chairman The Committee shall study problems relative to traffic and report thereon its recommendations to the Board of Selectmen and the Town Manager Items shall be placed on the agenda of the Committee a By reference from the Board of Selectmen b By the Town Manager c By vote of the Committee The Town Manager shall report to the Board of Selectmen items placed by him upon the agenda The Committee shall report to the Town Manager and the Board of Selectmen the vote of any item to its agenda prior to institution of a study thereon In the selection of personnel for this committee, consideration shall be given to the acquisition of experience and expertise in traffic control and safety revised - October 26, 1987 Gahm of 'giexingtan, Massachusetts MEMORANDUM TO: Bernice H Fallick, Town Clerk DATE: 10/20/87 PAGE.
